Travel Guide

A travel guide to Tokyo is provided by Japan National Tourist Organization.

Akihabara

Akihabara is a town in the center of Tokyo. It is famous for shops and stores for electric appliances and Japanese pop culture products. It takes 15 minutes from the conference venue by subway.

Asakusa

Asakusa is a town in the center of Tokyo. It is famous for a big Buddhist temple "Sensoji (Asakusa Kannon Temple)". Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate) is the outer gate of the temple and a symbol of Asakusa. Various Japanese traditional souvenirs are sold in shops along a shopping street that leads from the outer gate to the temple. It takes 20 minutes from the conference venue by subway.
